It’s not our exact translation but the Paul Carus translation, which our translator took as his starting point (see p. xvii of our book). 

I thought I had found the recording on YouTube for free but I can’t find it there now. Perhaps I’m mistaken or it was taken down.

Kant's Prolegomena, although a small book, is without doubt the most important of his writings, writes the translator, Paul Carus. Prolegomena means, literally, prefatory or introductory remarks, and it furnishes us with a key to his main work, The Critique of Pure Reason; in fact, it is an extract containing all the salient ideas of Kant's system. It approaches the subject in the simplest and most direct way and is therefore best adapted as an introduction into his philosophy. It is not without good reasons that the appearance of the Critique of Pure Reason is regarded as the beginning of a new era in the history of philosophy; and so it seems that a comprehension of Kant's position, whether we accept or reject it, is indispensable to the student of philosophy. It is not his solution which makes the sage of Ko¨nigsberg the initiator of modern thought, but his formulation of the problem.

In our translation, Pensees Fragment 697 ends with the word “morals.” The sentence reads, “The harbour is the judge of those aboard ship, but where are we going to find a harbour in morals?”

We wanted to know what French word in Pascal’s original is translated as “morals.” The French is “la morale,” which translates to “morality” or “ethics.”

Pensees 697 - Manuscript

Bernardo Kastrup is another idealist philosopher. His 2024 book entitled Analytic Idealism in a Nutshell: A straightforward summary of the 21st century’s only plausible metaphysics argues that there is a world “out there” independent of our individual minds, but such world is - just like ourselves - also mental or experiential.
